Plan your stay

Munglinup Beach Caravan Park is an eco-park and completely self-reliant. Our water is rain water and our power is generated from a mix of solar and wind. Please be consicious of our finite resources during your stay.

ELECTRICITY
Due to our remote location, we generate all our own power at Munglinup Beach Caravan Park, thus to ensure power supply to all our guests, and to minimise the environmental impact we have on our beautiful landscape, we encourage guests to be mindful of their electricity usage and refrain from using high drawing appliances when electricity demands are high. Due to limited power supply, we request guests DO NOT use electrical items with a heating element, including electric kettles and toasters.

PETS
All types of well-behaved pets are welcome at Munglinup Beach Caravan Park, they must be on a lead at all times in the park and cleaned up after. Any dogs causing disturbances to other guests will be asked to leave, as in accordance with the Caravan and Camping Grounds Act 1997.

BEACH ACCESS & FISH CLEANING
Munglinup has excellent beach fishing, however for those of you with small dinghy’s, these can be launched from the sandbar or the inlet. Fish cleaning facilities are provided but you are responsible for your own carcass disposal. Munglinup Beach Caravan Park supports sustainable fishing for the future.

LAUNDRY
For your convenience we have several coin operated washing machines in the ablution block. Please use the clotheslines provided.

BASIC SUPPLIES
We operate a small shop with basic supplies, ice-creams, cool drinks, ice, bait, wood (during season). Located in the office.

Speed Limit: 10km or walking pace. Please drive carefully and look out for children and pushbikes.

Water: Be conscious of water use as relay solely on rainwater. Turn water supply off when leaving site and at night.

Electricity: Due to our remote location, we generate all our own power at Munglinup Beach Caravan Park, thus to ensure power supply to all our guests, and to minimise the environmental impact we have on our beautiful landscape, we encourage guests to be mindful of their electricity usage and refrain from using high drawing appliances when electricity demands are high. Due to limited power supply, we request guests DO NOT use electrical items with a heating element, including electric kettles and toasters. Please make use of the kettle and toaster provided in the camp kitchen instead.

Pets: Pets are welcome to stay with you. Please keep dogs on a leash and always supervised. Please clean up after your dog and place waste in bins provided. No visitors’ dogs allowed. Pets are NOT allowed inside the accommodation. Excessive barking will not be tolerated, and you may be asked to remove your dog from the park.

Quads & Motor Bikes: Quads & Motor Bikes are can be used in the park when commuting from accommodation to the outside the park, and at walking pace ONLY. Riding around the Park is NOT permitted.

Visitors: All visitors must sign in at the office prior to entering the park.

Cabins: Please leave the kitchen as you found it. Wash, dry and return all dishes to their allocated areas. All breakages and damages must be reported to Management prior to your departure.

Camp Sites: Upon reaching your site, please advise us immediately of any damage to the utility services. Upon exit from your site please turn off the water tap and electricity connection.

Rubbish: Please place all your rubbish in a bag before putting in the provided blue skip bin.

Noise: Quiet time is from 10pm to 7am. Noise must be kept to minimum during these times and please be conscious of your neighbours. Noise complaints by your neighbours to management may result in you being asked to leave the park. The noise from music or social gatherings should be at a level as to not disturb or interfere with the enjoyment of other guests or residents. Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated and will result in you being asked to leave the park immediately.

Ablutions: Children must be supervised at all time. The washing of clothes or dishes in the ablution blocks is prohibited.

Dump Point: The nearest dump point can be found at Munglinup Roadhouse as well as Ravensthorpe, Hopetoun or Esperance.

Laundry: Laundry facilities are located in the ablutions block. Washing machines use 3 x $2 coins. Change is available at the office. Laundry is open 24/7. Please use the clothesline provided. No washing pet blankets. 

Camp kitchen: BBQ, fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster are provided for your convenience. Please respect your fellow campers and clean up after using the facilities. All food must be labelled when placing in the fridge.

Children: Parents are responsible for their children at all times. Children riding scooters, bikes or skateboards do so at their own risk.

Fish cleaning: A dedicated fish cleaning area is marked on our park map.

Basic Supplies: We operate a small shop with basic supplies, ice-creams, cool drinks, ice, bait, wood (during season). Located in the office. 

All bookings for peak periods (September, Christmas & Easter school holidays plus all long weekends) cancelled less than 90 days prior to the arrival date are non-refundable and cannot be amended.

All other bookings cancelled less than 14 days prior to the arrival date are non-refundable and cannot be amended.

All other cancellations and booking amendments will incur a $25 administration fee. No refunds for early departure.

Should you wish to vacate your site early for any reason no refund will be given. Tariffs and deposits are not-refundable if your stay is cut short for any reason.

Munglinup Beach Caravan Park is committed to providing quality services to you and this policy outlines our ongoing obligations to you in respect of how we manage your Personal Information.

We have adopted the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (the Privacy Act). The NPPs govern the way in which we collect, use, disclose, store, secure and dispose of your Personal Information.

What is Personal Information and why do we collect it?

Personal Information is information or an opinion that identifies an individual. Examples of Personal Information we collect includes names, addresses, email addresses and phone numbers.

This Personal Information is obtained in many ways including, phone conversations, by email, and via our website munglinupbeach.com.au. We collect your Personal Information for the primary purpose of providing our services to you.

When we collect Personal Information we will, where appropriate and where possible, explain to you why we are collecting the information and how we plan to use it.

Sensitive Information

Sensitive information is defined in the Privacy Act to include information or opinion about such things as an individual’s racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, membership of a political association, religious or philosophical beliefs, membership of a trade union or other professional body, criminal record or health information.

Sensitive information will be used by us only:

  • For a secondary purpose that is directly related to the primary purpose

Where reasonable and practicable to do so, we will collect your Personal Information only from you. However, in some circumstances we may be provided with information by third parties. In such a case we will take reasonable steps to ensure that you are made aware of the information provided to us by the third party.

Security of Personal Information

Your Personal Information is stored in a manner that reasonably protects it from misuse and loss and from unauthorized access, modification or disclosure. When your Personal Information is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was obtained, we will take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify your Personal Information. However, most of the Personal Information is or will be stored in client files which will be kept by us for a minimum of 7 years.

You may access the Personal Information we hold about you and to update and/or correct it, subject to certain exceptions.
